Today the kids were outside with the chickens. It was a hoot to see them chasing the chicken. We had just given the chickens various pieces of fruits and vegetables to see what the chickens liked the best. The next thing we knew was that the chickens were heading down the road. They don't fly, but they do hop and run really well. We caught up with the chickens and put them back in their portable chicken coop. It is our hope that the chickens can teach the children about where their food comes from and how to respect a creature of God.
